Kushma
Situated in the western part of Nepal Kushma is a beautiful hilly municipality filled with picturesque villages, hills, rivers, and sceneries. Formed by merging 13 village development committees it is the headquarters for Parbat district and located about 57 km away from the famous city of Pokhara making it easily accessible to the travelers.
Popular attractions of Kushma include the world’s second highest bungee jumping facility. Followed by the longest suspension bridge in Nepal namely, Baglung Parbat Foot bridge that is about 567 meters long which connects Kushma to Aduwabari. Famous temples such as Patheshwari, and Modibeni Dham where Narsimha Temple is located at the confluence of Kali Gandaki and Modikhola are also located in this region. Rafting in the white waters of Kaligandaki River is also an activity provided in Kushma.
The nearest airport is in Pokhara which is 65.2km, travelers can take a bus from here and reach Kushma in about two hours. Tourist standard hotels are available for accommodation in Kushma.
