It is situated 26 km west of Khalanga in Piuthan in Rapti Zone north of Dang valley at an altitude of 2200 meters. The name Swargadwari means gateway to heaven. It is associated with a saint named Swargadwari Mahaprabhu who took samadhi in 1940 AD.There is a big fair at the site in Nepali month of Kartik and Baisakh.

Access: Swargadwari can be reaved via two different routes. While one way goes through Ghorai-Holari in Dang, the other route goes through Bhalubang- Bhingri road in Pyuthan. Both routes constitute about half a day’s journey on bus.
