Situated in Kapilvastu, Jagadishpur Reservoir is an artificial lake previously constructed for irrigation purpose. The water is fed from the Banganga Lake and river in the Churia Catchment. There are large number of species of flora and fauna including some rare species like Morning Glory (Ipomea carnea ssp. fistulosa); water velvet, storks and others.
Nepal Tourism Board is a national tourism organization of Nepal established in 1998 by an Act of Parliament in the form of partnership between the Government of Nepal and private sector tourism industry to develop and market Nepal as an attractive tourist destination.
