Lo Manthang Monastery, Mustang

Lo-Manthang im oberen Mustang ist nochmal anders als alle anderen Gegenden. Das Zuhause des letzten König von Mustang befindet sich in der alten Hauptstadt, Lo- Manthang. Viele Touristen besuchen Lo-Manthang während des Teeji Festes, das im Mai stattfindet. Da Mustang auf der Regenschattenseite liegt, ist es ideal, während der Regenzeit hier zu trekken. Das obere Mustang ist ein Schutzgebiet und erfordert daher eine spezielle Einreisebewilligung.
