A wanderer’s paradise Nepal has plenty of options for both professional and amateur hikers with a plethora of hiking trails to choose from. The Kathmandu Valley alone has over 50 hiking trails that range from easy to difficult and are accessible to all.

Filled with forests and greenery the valley can be considered as a hiker's dream come true. There are many long as well as short hiking trails in and around Kathmandu that provide the travelers with the thrill and a vast array of views all unique on their own ranging from dense pine forests, river banks, rice terraced fields, waterfalls to green hills and snow capped mountains. Travelers can go for short hikes that last for about five hours or longer hikes that extend throughout the day, according to their preference.  Shivapuri, Sundarijal, Namobuddha, Champadevi, Nagarkot, Kakani, Pulchowki, Nagarjun are among the few options around Kathmandu that travelers can select from for an unforgettable hiking experience.
